Melissa and Emmitt from
Pugnotes tagged me for Adore Le Pug game! I've never been tagged before, so thank you!
1) How did you first learn about Pugs? After I bought my house in 1999, I wanted to get a dog. I took an online dog personality test that told me I would do best with either a german shepherd or a pug (what opposite ends of the doggie spectrum, ey?)
2) What made you get a Pug?I really wanted to get a dog from a shelter, since there are so many homeless doggies... I never thought I'd find a homeless pug, though. I had arranged to go meet a german shepherd after work one day, so I went to Petsmart at lunch to buy water/food dishes, some toys, treats, etc. The Arizona Humane Society had a pet adoption day there that day, and I saw a lady with Butch on a leash. She was bringing him in from outside. I thought "what a cute puggie!!!" but it didn't dawn on me until after I got back to work that he was up for adoption (DUH). So I went back after work and he was still there! Needless to say I had to bring him home.
My first dog, Butch, who went to the Rainbow Bridge in 2005-

This is a little porch that we had for his doggie door-
3) Most memorable moment with your Pug (s)Wow, there have been a lot of memorable moments... I guess that point where they recognized me as their buddy after I brought them home. You can see the affection in their little faces.
4) What is the most important thing Pugs (or dogs) have taught you?Treats rule! And that tail wags and a lick can fix any bad mood :)
5) Best Thing You Ever Did For Your Pug….aside from loving them, keeping them healthy & happy, and giving them a great life.I guess it would have to be that I adopted each of my pugs from rescue organizations and gave them a second chance :)
