Stuff I've Been Doing
This month, so far, has just zipped by me. Halloween is friggin' next week! Holy crap! Where has the year gone? I've been in a bit of a creative slump lately... didn't really enjoy making anything and everything I did make looked crappy to me lol. Things are picking up now, though. I'm working on some costumes for a couple of adorable kiddies this week, and I've been working on some Christmas stuff, too. I'll post pics when I finish them :)
Here are a few things I made for some swaps...
Monster stuffie made with felt and machine embroidery-

Fall fabric postcard-

Felt cupcake ornament-

Here are a couple of other pics... a gorgeous sunset seen from my backyard, and my wonderful baby boy, Pugsley :)

I hope you guys are all having a GREAT week!

I Found My Way Out!
Many of you took it quite seriously that I might never find my way out of my sewing room again HAHAHA (but would that be so bad?). Thanks for the offers to send the rescue teams after me! I left a trail of bread crumbs so that I wouldn't get lost. Unfortunately, today is Monday, so it's back to work!
I played around with a few things, but most of what I did was make more of those little dolls :) Most of them are waiting to go to their new homes for swaps.

I'm still playing around with the felting thingy. That is just way too cool!! I'm seriously addicted.

Lace Bookmark For Swap
Swap-bot has gotten me totally addicted to swapping stuff. It is such a neat website where people set up various swaps, some US only, some international, for all kinds of things... paper crafts, fabric, altered items, photography, dog treats - you name it. It's a great place to meet new friends, too.
Here's the link to swap-bot.
Here is a bookmark I made for one of my swaps. It was done on my embroidery machine. You can't see it too well in the photo, but it has gold thread for a bit of bling :)
